how to check element type ???

Dear All,

I have done meshing of a component in hypermesh using HEX8 elemet type.

But when i tried to mask the elements by selecting element by configuration hex8 it is not detected or element type is not detected...

Is there any shortcut to detect the element type by simply clicking on the element????

Goto element type in 1D or 2D or 3D menu, select element and click review.

U can even go to

-->Post-->Summary in that load hw/templates/summary/optistruct/elements files and click on Summary ..It will show you all types of elements in the structure.
