Ossmooth Import Error

Hello guys,

i've created a topology optimization an now i want to import the result in hypermesh again with Ossmooth. The import works fine but the adjacent elements splitted suddenly (seen in the pictures). I tried all the non-design-elements-processing parameters, especially turning off 'split all quads', but nothing works.

What can i do to prevent this splitting up?

    Hi Tensa,

    there is no way to select and run ossmooth only on design parts. as a work around you can use remesh option in parameters options. if still that doesn't work

    delete the non-design space and run ossmooth only on design part and export the same. before that make sure you have another copy of master .fem file (original model file)

    after exporting this you can import both (ossmoothed file and master file without design part) and equivalence the nodes.
