No Closed Volume Found
Hello, I'm still really new to Hypermesh, but I'm really having a difficult time with creating solids. I'm using Hypermesh v12. I created an iges file from solidworks to mesh and could not create a solid, so I went back and created a simpler one. I made a simple solid cube and imported it into hypermesh. When I tried to create a solid in hypermesh, the program gave me the error 'No closed volume found.' I've checked this forum and found one similar post which was not resolved. I checked and I do not have any discontinuous edges. I choose 'By 2D Topo' to see if there were any and the cube wireframe turns blue. I apologize since I'm sure this a very newbie post, but at this point I'm not sure where else to ask about this. I appreciate any help!
Edit: The uploader won't let me upload hypermesh binary files (.hm) as well as iges or sldasm files. It says 'You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file.' I've just uploaded some screenshots instead.

Unfortunately, I am unable to upload my models since the uploader will not let me. When I try to upload .hm, .igs or .sldasm files it says 'You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file.' I uploaded a few pictures in my first post if that helps. If you need more information, just let me know and I'll do what I can to get it for you.
Hello everyone, thank you for your comments, I really appreciate them. I have included a link to a dropbox folder with the files which have been requested. Rahul, I checked to see if they were already solids and they are, however, I need to create a new entity which has several solids under one name for the program I'll be exporting to. So there are four entities which I have saved in the program and they are already solids, I need to add each of them to a new entity which I'll call 'Solid.' However when I try to create a new solid, the program gives me the error I described earlier.

Joey,
by entity , do you mean collector?
do you need to put your existing 4 solids into a collector called 'solid' ? to create collectors you just need to right click in the model browser are to the left > create > collector and then go to Geometry > organize > solids and choose the solids to move into the collector which you can right click and rename to solid.
If you need to create actual solids in HyperMesh, you need a closed volume, i.e. a geometry of surfaces that is watertight, this will then be made into a solid using the solids > bounding surfaces option.
Hello,
'Red line' means that there is either a 'missing surface' along those edges or there are some 'connectivity issues' around those edges. Please check for these issues.
'Blue line' means that the edge is suppressed and the 'Green line' means that it is shared. These are not the problem.
To correct the 'Red lines' go to Geom>>Quick edit
Here use the following options depending on the issue:
1. Toggle Edge
2. Filler Surface
3. Replace Point
Thankyou
If you could share your model, it's easier to help.
