Sequential thermal and mechanical analysis.

Hi everybody.

 

I have to solve a problem that contain two differents parts. I'm using abaqus solver and hypermesh for preprocessing.

 

1. First of one I need to know the temperatures due to apply a heat flux.

 

2. I want to know what stresses exists due to the temperatures field.

 

I know that element type is differents for each analysis.

Is there any way to read the temperature results and do the mechanical calculation? (Two different models) 

Is there any way to define sequential analysis in a single model using the same type of element?
