Do .stl files work on Hyperworks CFD?

Hi, i was wondering does Altair Inspire or Hyperworks CFD support fluid flow simulation for .stl or mesh file, i made a solid cylinder then applied a TPMS lattice in it, noticed Inspire would not let me select an inlet/outlet probably because its now a mesh (Implicit to Triangular mesh). Any way to work around this? i just want to perform a fluid flow plus thermal analysis to see how the lattice cylinder compares to a hollow cylinder in terms of pressure drop, temperature and velocity.
