Animation Files in RADIOSS (A-file)

Hi everyone,

to create an animation RADIOSS put the information in A-files. They are named at the end by '...Annn'. So if i want to create more than 999 time steps RADIOSS name the 1000st A-file with '...A1000' at the end. Problem is that more than 999 A-files weren't regarded for creating the H3D-Output-File. Also the mannually process with hvtrans don't work properly, because the files were sorted by their name, so that file '...A1000' comes before '...A101'.

Thanks for answering.

The H3D should contain all the results of the A00 files output at every time step.

The .h3d file is created after a RADIOSS Engine run by translating the RunnameAnnn files through hvtrans. The RADIOSS script automatically takes care of this

    Hi LoHo,

This is a know issue with HVTrans that it will include upto A999 in H3D anything above is ignored. Possible solution will be available in the coming release.

As a workaround Copy all Animations files (A1000+) to another folder and create H3D files, you may generate multiple H3D files and combine using Derived load-cases in HyperView.
