How to check result for 2D composite that is connected with 3D metal in same window?

I am working on a composite landing gear, where the strut is 2D composite. The axel is Aluminium connected to the strut via RBE2 & CBUSH (for bolt purpose), I wanted to check the results in Hyper view for both strut and axel together. Still, I couldn't get stress results together, while being able to get displacement for both strut and axel together.

I tried to check results in patran too but still, the stress results show only for axel and null (black color) for strut and if I chose composite stress result then I get results on strut bt null( no results) on axel.

I hope my query is understood and anyone who knows could help me in this.

    Hello @Sri Haasa ,

HyperView does support only one contour data type at a time, which means you cannot plot at the same time "Stress" for isotropic parts and "Composite stress" for composite parts, unless you combine them and re-create a new contour.

HWASCII would be one way to do it as you can through an ASCII format define an contour easily.

    Best Regards,

    Michael
