Dear community,

last week I got access to the HyperWorks bundle 2022 (student edition). Unfortunately I have got some issues with the software and I hope anybody can help me.

First issue: Licensing
When I open HyperWorks 2022 everything seems to be okay. When I go to file>licensing, the window replies 'activated' next to the third option Local file .  Here the screenshot.

I placed the licening file at   as mentioned in the licensing instructions.
File name extensions are activated und my ethernet mac-address matches with the altair_lic.dat file.

However when I open the License Log, it shows up the following lines:

When I solve models with the OptiStruct-solver, the run summary says ANALYSES COMPLETED but also drops a similar licencing error. See the screenshot below:

Second issue: Post-Processing in HW 2022
When the solver has succeded, I can't import the results though the menu option post and Import/add results . I always get the following error: 'The Model file mismatch with the HM Model loaded'.
I tried a linear static analysis of a surface model which I importet as .stp-file and a simple beam, which I created in HyperWorks itself (two nodes + cbeam-element). In both cases I raised this failure.
The only way I can plot the results is, when I click on 'Results' at the bottom of the Altair Compute Console Solver View-window. Then I think the HW Desktop 2022 (blue icon) opens and reads the results. To my mind this issue could be related to my first issue.

I already tried to reinstall the software. Do you know the issue? How can I fix it?

I hope, anybody could help me with these problems.
Thank you so much for your help.

Best regards

Pascal

    Hi

The solution and analysis is completed and I think the licensing error can be ignored .
