Hi,

I am using inspire to optimise a rocker model, but each analysis terminates at 40% completion and 'hvtrans.exe has stopped working' window pops up.

Can you tell me what's wrong with my model and how to fix this please?

Thank you

Yan

    Hi YanYang2,

can you install the latest build Inspire (3969) from http://www.solidthinking.com/DownloadProducts.aspx?category=Download&item=Products

Run the optimization again and check if you are able to get results without errors.

if you still face the problem, please let us know.

Please also make sure the load is applied on non design components, i.e. components that are not selected for design (right click design)

This means, that if you want to apply a force in a cylindrical hole , you will need to create a cylindrical bush component, it is not advised to apply loads and support as you have all in one component marked as design.

Thank you Prakash and Rahul, that was really helpful! It was my applied load and support on the model that caused the problem as you suggested.
