Non selected surface

Hello,

 

I must select the all of surface in the hole. I attached the pictures. Blue surfaces will be nondesign_surface. Half of the hole is pink which is design space. However it should be blue which indicates the nondesign area.But half of the hole which i marked red circle could not selected by manuel usuage. How can i select this nonselected surface (red circle area)? 

Could you help me?

    Your geometry is 3D (solid) and you're trying to define design/nondesign zones over surfaces?

    Yes, one solid and the hole should not change after optimization ,so i want to define nondesign surface

    F2>delete>solids to delete all solids then you can select the surfaces manually

    This is for deleting solid? Because when i tried the surface, it is gone and i could not trim

    When a solid existing you cannot delete surfs be cause they belong to the solid

    When you work with solid elements, I think you have to define design/non-design area on solid elements, not surfaces.
