Monarch Classic Summaries

I would like to add a count in my summary report.  If I add the measure "count" the summary displays "1"s and reports the total count in the subtotal line for the key "Class".  Is it possible to only report the count subtotal and not see the "1"s.  Hiding the count measure removes it from the summary, but I loose the count subtotal.

    Hi Janet,

From a *visual* perspective, you can change the foreground and background colours to the same value.  They values will still be there, but will not be visible in Monarch or when printed to physical media or PDF.  (By the way, one of my counts is 2!)

They may or may not be visible in Excel, depending on versions and options.  I think they will always be visible in applications such as Access, MS SQL Server, csv etc.

To set this up, edit the summary, select the Count measure, then navigate to the "Coloring and Limits" tab.
Select "Override for selected groups" and choose the correct level.

Edit the "Normal Values" and choose the same value for Text and Fill.

    Regards,
    Steve.

    Hi Janet,
The way your summary is configured, you may try changing the count column color to white (see screenshot below, Coloring and limits)

I had one of your reports and model, and tried it, and it worked.

Thanks Mo.  This is an easy solution that I should have come up with.
