I want to create stress in BCs

hi

I want to create two type of stress on a rotor: shear stress and normal stress. Because the surface is circle, I cant find an easy solution to apply pressures normal and paralle to surface. also can you offer me a methode?

You can create normal forces as a pressure.
You can use a cylindrical coordinate system to define forces in the tangential direction (y-axis).

You can also create normal forces with the same cylindrical coordinate system (radial, x-axis).

thanks for answer. but as pressure it is not possible to use a local coordinate system like cylindrical or spherical. is it? there is no option to choose different local coordinates, but only globale.

Right you would use a pressure to create a normal force or a coordinate system to define normal loads.  The only way I thought of creating parallel surfaces was with a coordinate system.
