BIRD STRIKE ON COMPOSITE FAN BLADE

Looks like property and material is not assigned component(s).

Can you please check and update the same if they are not assigned on component?

hi Prakash, thank for the reply. I assigned at all components his material and property as you can see in the pictures.

I created pstack_17 than i assigned at blade, after that i created ply and laminate. other components are the Leading edge in titanium (matlaw2) and bird (sph). 

for the project a learnt the tutorial 'bird strike on wing' .

There are multiple errors which point to zero thickness on property ID =0 which doesn't exist, duplication of ply elements, etc...

There are multiple errors,

PLY Card is updated for plies and few components are missing PART card image

Also, I would suggest you create plies with elements instead of shell.

I will share the modified file. Please check the model before you run as I accidentally modified few elements.

I don't remember, but I think I modified the ply shape using elements.

hi Prakash, i extend my model to all fan blades and i solve old problems (the analysis in a single blade run without error). when i lounch the analysis this problem come out. can you help me to solve it ? (how can impose rotational velocity to fan blades ?)

I had a look at your file.

You have provided INIV in Engine but no nodes are provided. Please check this.

Also, please remove rigid from TH/PART as no part image is provided for the same. 

From Engine, please remove ANIM/ELEM/FAIL. Some entities are not supported and this may lead to another error. 

Thank you Prakash, i change rigid with constraints apply to blade's nodes (if a use cylindrical system is correct secure dof 156 r, t, z?), now the analysis run with 2 warnings but i can't impose angular velocity to fan blades.

also, I noticed that the movement of the bird is moving away from blades. You need to change the direction of initial velocity applied on Bird component. 

Sorry Prakash, i need to create constant angular velocity for fan blades (314 rad/s) . I did it from utility/bcsmanager/imposed velocity/select curve but this method didn't work. I change the velocity thanks

Try to apply IMPVEL with a SKEW and apply on the master node,

The distance between the bird and the blades are too far. Reduce the distance, calculate the velocity accordingly to reduce the simulation time
