rbe3 into mpc

Hello,

I want to convert a rbe3 into a mpc to use it in a specific loadstep.

How did I need to set up the mpc to gain a equal behaviour to the rbe3?

Thank you!

    Hi,

Please tell me which specific Load step , because it will not convert only for load step, it will change at model level.

    Regards,

    Thank you for your answer!

But I am not sure what you want me to tell you.

I wanted to put a load on a rbe3 element and distribut it in a set of nodes.

I an other (sequential) loadstep I wanted to put an other load on rbe3, but some independent nodes of the two rbe3 are equal.

And this results in error message.

But I cannot avoid to use some nodes from the first loadstep and first rbe3 in the second loadstep and second rbe3.

I thought I could solve this through using an MPC instead of an rbe3 because I can define the MPC specific to an loadstep.

    Is this the right way?

If yes, I am not sure which configuration I need to give the MPC when creating in Hypermesh panel.

    Thank you!

what is the error message you're getting?

It should be possible to use 2 different RBE3s, i believe, even sharing some of the indep nodes.

It just worked with the rbe!

Must be another error in the previous model.

    Thank you!
