Can't connect to a host server?

I've been trying to run some programs on altair analytics. Most of the functions up top are greyed out, and I can't run the program. Whenever I press Ctrl + R it gives me this error: [ERROR] [Worker-2: Starting connection to host Local] [Line:50] Failed to read Windows registry, exit value: 1. I've attempted connecting to the Altair SLC server, but have not had success. I was wondering if there was some way to go about fixing this?

    Do you know if your SLC is licensed? If it's green then I'm sure it's licensed. Being licensed, you should be able to use all the features.
