1. Folder C:/Users/정경석

    /.Altair/AssemblyDb/udm20170/atCtrlSession_workspace already exists and not empty.

    Please delete the .altair folder and the other files as specified in the post above and restart the app and see,

    Please confirm the student edition is being run with a valid student edition license (using full version license with the student edition can cause these errors)

    make sure the 2017 license is used with the 2017 version.

    please provide system information, operating system, graphics card and driver etc.

    There is solution of this problem:
    Right click on HyperWorks shortcut and select 'Properties'. Next remove '/clientconfig hwfepre.dat' in Target line.

    Regards

    Hi,

    I had the same issue but I am not able to open Hypermesh. When HW executes, directly appears the following windows:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>image.thumb.png.3d20234d586ebf60ff707af20c7959c5.png

    How can I fix it? Why does not appear the normal HW window?

    Hello,

    This is HyperView, you have to change the client to HyperMesh from dropdown. Please refer below Image.

    Thankyou

    Delete the above files and uninstall the application,

    It is important to first try deleting the downloaded executable file and downloading it again from the site. To make sure the file is not damaged on download, run an md5 checksum on the downloaded file (just google md5 checksum) and make sure the checksum result matches the one given in the site where the files are downloaded from,

     <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>as.jpg

    1. Double click / run the Winmd5 checksum executable (download win md5 a freeware from the internet, please note we cannot be responsible for external content and info)

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>ad.jpg

    1. Select the executable by clicking on the browse button or drag and drop the file into the window

     <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>af.jpg

    Can you please try this?

    I have just tried the WinMD5 and it works. It is the same number so the file is not damaged. What else can I do for checking?

    The intel HD graphics card is not supported, could you please switch to a supported card (switch it in BIOS to NVIDIA or any supported card in your machine already) and try?

    Did you check this?

    Thank you very much Sanjay Nainani. Everything it works unless the solver edit window when optistruc is executed. How can I see the results from optistruc?

    Hello,

    The results can be viewed from Analysis==>OptiStruct. In this panel there is an option 'HyperView' which will automatically take you to HyperView and view your results.

    This option is available in the full version

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>image.thumb.png.5edade08479145f506f3c195f09fabe6.png

    If you are using the student edition this option is not available.

    Then, after analysis you will have to switch clients from the panel

    image.png.6eaa6fe8a56311a731b510909ca92d7c.png

    and then load the proper .h3d from the load panel.

    Hello,

    I did what Sanjay Nainani said. I am just followed his instructions and everything works. Normally when I executed the optistruc function, automatically a display appears with all the information from the running optistruc and the results. As I mentioned above, it did not work so I just did it as Nainani said (manual mode step by step).

    Thank you.

    I am unable to open Hypermesh as well. I always get the error message that the folder already exists and that it is not empty, when manually switching from Hyperview to Hypermesh. After deleting the setting files, Hypermesh shuts down without a message the first time and at second time again outposts the error message. I already did all the steps mentioned above (and in other posts with similar problems)[deleting setting files, md5 checksum->download is not corrupted, redownloading, removing'/clientconfig hwfepre.dat' in run options, installing in different path, installing previous versions of Hyperworks(14,13)...] and always fully cleaned my system from remains of Hyperworks after uninstalling.

    My system: (Laptop)

    Hyperworks 2017.2 with Hotfix (no Student edition)

    Windows 10 Education

    i7-4700HQ CPU @2.4 Ghz

    8GB RAM

    Geforce GT750M+Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Hyperworks is always run with Nvidia graphics card)

    I had to switch my hard drive a few weeks ago, before that everything worked fine(with Hyperworks 14).

    Thank you for your help!

    I guess the problem isn't the graphics card.

    I somehow fixed the problem. The username of my laptop had a space character in it. I created a second user and with this user i am able to open HW.
