How to connect different solids in Hyperworks?

I´m working in a analysis of a assembly 

constituted of different solids, and I don`t know how to connect them

    hi Guilherme,

     

    what solver are you using?

    In general, you could do that 2 ways:

    - make sure your geometries are connected, thus your mesh will be created connected

    - using tied contacts, defining a bonding between the different parts

     

    for case #1, you might need this, under solid edit panel.

    Você poderia mostrar como faço tied contacts para um sólido? Eu só consigo definir conexões quando estou trabalhando com malha 2D e preciso conseguir fazer isso para malha 3D também

    please take a look at this nice video, that shows, among other things, how to create contacts for solids using auto-contact tool in contact browser:

    In your case, you can should contact type as TIE or as FREEZE.
