Hi,
I can't find a way to drag 3D elements edges in order to create a 2D mesh in Hypermesh 2022.3.
The drag option is no longer here. I've tried via the Hex tool but it does not work.
Thank you for your help
In HyperMesh v2022.3, you can drag a list of nodes using the Drag tool from the Geometry ribbon:https://2022.help.altair.com/2022.3/hwdesktop/hwx/topics/pre_processing/geometry/surfaces_drag_unity_t.htm
Bu default, you should get a surface. Thus, you can check the 'create mesh' option to automatically mesh the newly created surface ; or you can get a mesh by switching the 'Create mode' option to 'Fe Geom' in the Preferences>Geometry section:https://2022.help.altair.com/2022.3/hwdesktop/hwx/topics/pre_processing/geometry/geometry_preferences_r.htm
Please take a look at this video to get more highlights on the ruled/drag fonctions with fe geom entities:https://youtu.be/1Rrpl4fn5EQ?si=hNMUsI7odXsTrMBU
Regards,Fred.
Thank you ! It works !
