Is there a way to create a flexible body in Optistruct to use in RADIOSS?
Good morning,
I'm trying to create a flexible body input file with Optistruct to be used in a subsequent RADIOSS run, but I couldn't find any valuable information in the Help Manual. It looks like Optistruct can output the flexible body only for these softwares: for Fatigue Analysis (FEMFAT, Design Life, FE-Fatigue, and FE-SAFE), Multibody Dynamic Analysis (AVL EXCITE, SIMPACK, ROMAX, ADAMS, RecurDyn, Ricardo, Virtual Lab, GT-SUITE, and MASTA), and Fluid Structure Interaction Analysis (AcuSolve). Additionally, superelement output for KissSoft and OP2 file output for STRENGTH2000 are available.
Is there a way to tell Optistruct to write the flexible body file in the RADIOSS format .fxb or at least in a format that the RADIOSS card /FXBODY could manage?
Thank you for your help,
Silvio
Hi Silvio,
I never tried it myself, but if you have a RADIOSS model already maybe you want to try creating the flexible body directly with RADIOSS?
