Thickness mapping
Dear all,
I have one query regarding thickness mapping.
I have two models.
1. A model with coarse mesh whose variable thickness has been mapped.
2. Same model with a finer mesh.
So, can i map the thickness from this coarse mesh model to fine mesh model?

We are trying to map the thickness output from Polyflow/Ansys to LS-Dyna through Hypermesh interface. Output from the Polyflow has the Variable thickness attached to shell elements, we need to map the same variable thickness to another shell mesh of same geometry to use it in Ls-Dyna for other simulations.
can we do that in hypermesh?

Could you share a sample of Polyflow output? I know nothing about this software. But if you show me the format, maybe I'll try a script.
