Exercise 2G. Why the line I create in geometry doesn't snap to "tangent" (Hyperworks 2022.2)

Hi,
I have Hyperworks 2022.2

I assisted to the following training:

HyperWorks Pre - Geometry Cleanup and Midsurfacing.

It will take place on July 25, 2023 at 12:30 PM-3:30 PM.

I am trying to do Exercise 2G from that trainging, but it doesn't work (see picture attached for details)

In the video that come with this exercise, the line SNAP AS TANGENT to the circle.

When I am trying to mimic the exercise, I am not able to snap this line as TANGENT to that circle.

I tried to play with the "snap filter" on the bottom right, but didn't solve the problem.

I also looked at the help.  I only found the following, but that didn't guide me on how to solve the problem

What am I doing wrong?

    Hello,

Can you please make sure you are starting from the point on the rectangle AND that the circle is in plane to the back edge of the rectangle

Yes I am starting fro the point on the rectangle.

I think my circle is in plane with the back edge of the rectangle (Is there a way to validate this?).  (I am snapping the circle to the midpoint of the back of the rectangle edge and then rotate it and move it outboard as per the video.  I did it twice to make sure, both both times I don't get the "tan" snap.  )

I would double check your tolerances. I could make it not work (or really difficult) by having really small tolerances. Try resetting to default and try again.

Yes.  I tried the tolerances you show in your picture, as well as "Restore Default".  It still doesn't snap to "Tan"

I have not been able to reproduce the issue. It could be a graphical or performance issue.

You might want to try restarting the app.

Or deleting your temporary settings files?
