Problem with pressure mapping

Dear Community,

I have a problem with pressure mapping an .nas file onto my geometry. Its a helicopter door with two windows. I am applying the pressure via Analysis-Pressures-Linear Interpolation - referencing the 3 faces and the .nas file. In the picture below you can see the .nas file as imported pload2 elements. It's quite close to the surface of the part.

Problem: When using a search readius of like 10-100mm Hypermesh won't create any pload4 elements on the surface. I have to go above 5000mm in search radius to "find" the data. When it's done with the 5000mm the pressure values are insanely big. Magnitude of 10e6 bigger then what was shown on the pload2 elements. Doing an analysis with those values lead to meaningless results. What am I missing? Thank you!

    Hello Matthias

Did you check if the x,y,z co-ordinates for the pressure loads are within the search distance 10-100mm for nodes you have selected for the 3 faces to apply the pressure loads

There is another tool for pressure mapping -> Fields which can perform pressure mapping using .csv type file format using different mapping methods such as proximity , shape functions , linear interpolation on your existing mesh
