Workspace File Corrupt

I am having an issue when utilize a CSV as a data source (any CSV) in data prep studio. When loading the workspace into Automator Visual Process, I am getting a 'Workspace File is Corrupt' error. I am wondering if there is a setting or some prerequisite scenario I am missing that is causing this error.

Works fine in any other data source scenario (SQL, PRN, PDF etc) seems to just be TXT and CSV files. I even made simple 1 row CSVs and TXT files to test and as soon as i add them i cannot open them in Automator.

I'm on 2020.1

Hoping someone has come across this and any possible solutions.

Thank you!

Looks like I have competing versions of Data Prep Studio and Automator that may be causing the issue going to patch Automator to a higher version to see if that works. Thought I'd share here incase anyone else is ever searching for the same error

I can second that advice by Frank - I've faced the same thing. Usually Monarch DPS is one version ahead of Monarch Server Automator in certain months of the year (it will catch up before year end usually). So I keep at least two main versions of DPS, in case some Workspace need to be fed into the Automator, then I'll use the older DPS version. It's very convenient that two DPS version can sit on the same system without any issues.

    Hi Frank,

I am facing a similar issue after upgrading to Dataprep studio 21.

Did upgrading the Automator fix your issue?

    Thanks,

    Chris

Yep, getting on the right version of Automator to match the version of my DPS did the trick.  Now my workspaces don't throw any errors related to CSVs.
