Hypermesh to Nastran element problem

Hello everyone,

I am new user of Hypermesh. I am trying to import Ansys .inp data to Hypermesh and then try to export it into MSC Nastran. I could import .inp to Hypermesh and I saw elements and nodes. Once I exported from Hypermesh to MSC Nastran as .bdf file, only nodes are transferred into Nastran. I couldn't figure how to transfer elements also. Can you please help me with that?

Thank you.

    Do you check element properties?

The right approach would be to use 'Tools>>convert' function from the beginning.

As you didn't do that, element types are different from solver to solver.

There was an error message when you tried exporting the model, saying that invalid elements were saved to the mark.

You need to go to 'Element Types' Panel and select all elements and update their types to Nastran's types.
