Hello Sir,

(This question arises from the development of the draw surface)

If process has sequence as follows:

1. Blanking process

2. First Draw process

3. OD trimming process

4. Re-strike process ....as in one-step we get the flat blank from any draw/forming tool, as the same process can we get the blank input (blank with draw shape) for the re-strike tool from the first draw tool (i.e. input blank for re-strike based upon first draw operation)

Please share if any another process sequence / video explaining regarding the same.

    hello sumit,

you can use the .sta file as blank input for the second draw/restrike tool.

(you can get .sta file after successfully completion of incremental analysis for first draw)

    Hello Vipin SIr,

Thank you for the reply but actually my problem is that, (please refer the above process sequence) I want to develop the 1st draw surface from which I will get minimum thinning and wrinkles in the final draw ( re-strike process). so as like one-step blank formation, likewise can we get the optimum shaped blank for the re-strike stage( 2nd draw stage)?

so that from this optimum shaped blank I will get the First Draw tool surface.
