Error Reading from file
Altair EmployeeI'm using Hyperworks student edition 2017. When I try to open .hm file it does not load and error message comes as 'Error Reading from file'. This does not happens for all .hm files. Some files works all fine. This error comes to the files downloaded from link https://altairuniversity.com/model-files-for-student-edition-users-accompaniment-to-the-tutorials-in-help/ . For hypermesh tutorials files.

Hi,
Is this happening for any specific model or for all model files?.
I tried downloading the HyperMesh model files from the above link, randomly opened few files in HW 2017 Student Edition and it opened without any issues.
Can you please delete the settings files and try opening again?. The below post shows deleting the settings files:
PS:Close all HyperWorks sessions before deleting the settings files.
