How is possible to create in a smart way the SKIN for a full complex assembly model?

Recently I've attended the presentation of the "Phisycs AI" product and it was said that in the last version of the software is able to create automatically the results in the skin of the component. So, I just wonder if it is possible to use this feature in some way to accelerate the creation of the skin for an orphan complex assembly mesh.

If this is not the better way, which would be the best solution for doing it?
