How can the rotational joints of a robotic arm be represented in HyperMesh?

At school, I was tasked with performing a finite element analysis, and I chose a robotic arm as the model for this assignment. I would like to ask whether I should use a fixture or another method to represent the rotational joints at the corresponding locations in HyperMesh? How can these joints be modeled to accurately reflect their rotational behavior?
