1st question:

I am capturing images for documentation, and I need the images from Hyperview. In Hypermesh I am be able to see the scale, however, I can't see the scale in hyperview. Do you have ideas on how to fix this issue?

The first image is from Hypermesh, and the second image is from Hyperview.

2nd question:

Can Hyperview show/displace the absolute XY shear values/contour?

Thank you.

    Hello pianpianc,

Answer 1: It isn't possible in Hyperview

Answer 2: You can do it by using the Expression builder. Here are a few hints:

    • You must load your model with the 'Advanced' Result-Math Template (see 'Load model and results panel')
    • Open the Expression Builder and select your result on the left side.
    • Select the math operation on the right side.
    • See attached picture, how it looks.
    • The result is a scalar, and can be found also in model browser (right click here to edit).

    Hopefully it helps, best regards,

    Mario

Any news on Scale view or Bonding box view  in HyperView ?

I found that showing grid on cutting plane can give an prosthesis of Scale and Bounding box to HyperView, but its so clumsy, especially huge labels and spacing that need to be set manually each time, each time, each time ... as TCL is not documented ...
