The deep learning from RapidMiner model sounds too good to be true. Do you happen to have any other models tested, e.g. GLM, RF, etc. to compare the performance across different algorithms? The quickest comparison can be done in AutoModel as you may know.
As for deep learning in Python, do you use H2O library or something else (Tensorflow, Pytorch, Karas, MxNet, etc.)?
