Cant not find "Contact Manager" in Hypermesh 2020.

Hi everyone,

 I can not find 'Contact Manager' in "Tools" menu. But the document says that "Contact Manager" is still in the "Tools" menu. (As bellow picture)

Anyone using Hypermesh 2020 version here  can  help me ?

    Hello,

    To create contact, a new contact browser has been implemented. You can find it in the pulldow menu Vuew/Browsers/HyperMesh/Contact.

    You can do a right click in the contact browser to create contact between your components.

    If you have already defined contacts in your model, you can review it, update it into this contact Browser.

    Please find in attached the documentation regards this contact browser.

    Hello

    Contact Manager doen't exist anymore in HW2020.

    you need to use Contact Browser (in drop-down menu : View > Browsers > Hypermesh > Contact)

    In this new browser, with a right click, you will be able to define your contacts : using auto contact or interface per interface.

    Contacts algorithms have been improved for this browser.

    But I am not sure if my operation is correct. The attached file is my operation in hypermesh2019. 

    The figures below indicate what I did in Hypermesh 2020. But the results show that some contacts

    are always missing, and some contacts are shown in different colors. Why is this?

    How can I get the same results as in Hypermesh2019 ?

    I am working on geomechanics finite element work. In geology, a fault is a planar fracture or discontinuity in a volume of rock across which there has been significant displacement as a result of rock-mass movements. In the model, the rocks will slide relatively along the fault plane. So I need to define a contact on both sides of the fault plane to form a contact pair. My model file is too big to upload, so I put it on Google Cloud Disk.

    I mean that the split is not done correctly because tetras elements are accross the two sides.

    See the picture below :

    That's why you could have "hole" in your contact.

    Regards the methodology to create the contact, I will do in an another way that what you have sent in the pdf.

    Indeed, after to have split your tetras elements, you could directly select the component with the tetras elements in the autocontact detection, then select the option "Condiser contact within a component"

    With this option HyperMesh will create the contact pairs and the contactsurfaces.

    Hi,

    The fractures were really not well defined in some places because some nodes were not detached. But there were also "holes" though the nodes were detached in some other places. 

    I also have some questions about defining contact. I have summarized the problems I encountered, and hope to continue to get your help.

    Hello,

    Found this new contact manager and way to create analytical rigid surfaces, but I can not find the former way to define and update analytical surfaces using local systems, arcs/lines, etc. Visualization is also missing.

    Is there a tool for analytical rigids any more?
