    please locate your working directory by right click on hm icon > properties > start in field

    In this location delete the hmsettings.tcl, hmmenu.set and command.cmf. also hwsettings.xml

    when I click the "hypermesh desktop" button on my desktop, there is no response. I have installed hypermesh 14 but after running it not getting started nor it is showing any error....

    I am also facing the same issue i deleted hmsettings.tcl file and after that i started hyper works desktop 2020 but it shows fatal error and didn't started. I restored the file again on the same position and it starts but the problem is not solved. Some icons of the visualization toolbar are absent. Please help me in regard.

    There is now a utility in the HyperWorks installation to do this:

     

    C:\Program Files\Altair\2022\hwdesktop\utility\HWCleanup\

     

    Note you will lose your preferences that you may have set. Close the apps before running it.
