Hai guys,

I am Gogulnath i am currently doing BE-Mech engg. i have some of doubt in hypermesh please help me,

Questions

1. How to apply rotating force to shaft by selecting all nodes in outer dia of shaft in one end both Radioss and ansys solver?

2. How to Weld the two solid 3d components?

3. What is the element type for 1d, 2d axis symmetric components & 2d plain stress and plain strain components, and 3d components (both static and thermal problems) in ANSYS solver?

4. What is moment force? what is the difference between normal force and moment force?

    Hi there,

    4) moment force is 'rotating force', normal force is straight force

    1) first constrains the nodes by rigidlink elements with 'calculating master node', then apply a moment on master node

    2) weld is a kind of contrain, there are some ways to modeling constrain and not depend on hypermesh, it depends on solver

    3) sorry, i just study about hyperworks, also we are discussing about hyperworks-hypermesh, anyway i think you can find answers in ansys guidings
