CONTROL CARDS

hello,

imtrying to do a structural analysis of a composite laminate. I want to know if the plates will fail or not. 

I searched and found that i can do this using control cards but i wasn't able to  set the input. Thus when i run the simulation using optistruct i cant see the failure index.

any suggestions?

Hi Lina,

 

You need CFAILURE output card to get the failure index value. 

 

Go to Analysis page>> Control cards>> Global output Request>> CFAILURE and activate this card to output failure index.
