Hello,

I did use HyperWorks V11.0 and currently I am using V12.0. With V11.0 I could simulate a model of around 33 millions of tetrahedral element. But now with V12.0 I got the error message as below:

************************************************************************
A fatal error has been detected during input processing:

*** ERROR # 7994 ***
PROGRAMMING ERROR in prep1_sup prep1_sup
ioerr(1) = ********
ioerr(2) = 1
ioerr(3) = 78
ioerr(4) = 2
************************************************************************

It will be fine (without error message) if I reduce the model size to around 32 millions of tetrahedral element. Could you please help me to show out how to run a model of more than 33 millions of tetrahedral element with HyperWorks V12.0?

Thank you in advance!

    Hi N.H. Nguyen

Firstly please check if you have the latest solver update in your machine and if not install it and then run your model,

To identify the latest updates installed in your machine, see

    http://www.altairuniversity.com/support-forum/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=252

You must have the latest solver update called HWSolvers 12.0.212 (this is installed after you install 12.0.210)

If you do not have HWSolvers 12.0.212, go to http://www.altairhyperworks.com/ > support > software downloads > product updates > choose os > download and install.

I have received your model file, I will get back to you after I review it.

    Dear Rahul Ponginan,
I am sorry for returning late. I thus updated the new version as you suggested. This time the consequence is similar as the last time, except the output errors:

    *** INTERNAL PROGRAMMING ERROR ***
    in file 'prep_1.F', at location # 1987.

    ioerr(1) =-2081511776
    ioerr(2) = 1
    ioerr(3) = 78
**** ABORTING RUN DUE TO AN INTERNAL ERROR ****

Furthermore, after updating I can not find the User profile: RADIOSS Bulk. Hereafter are information of the update.

    Best regards,
    N.H. NGUYEN

    Hi N.H. NGUYEN

RADIOSS bulk is also called Optistruct now, Just choose the optistruct user profile for the analysis not RADIOSS.

If you still see the error, I am afraid I will need the model again as the old file has expired.
