Isolid = 14 is for 8-node linear element with various number of integration points, and has co-rotational formulation. When more integration points are used it could be computationally expensive, but will produce accurate results with no hourglass.
Whereas for Isolid=17 it has only standard integration.
We recommend to use Isolid=24. under-integrated elements but with physical hourglass stabilization, and the computation time will be also less.
