Hi,

I have been trying to design a rope in hypermesh but I am unable to generate a output for the same. I will upload the files. Could you tell me how to remove the error.

Also I wish to view my design in hyperview. I am using a student edition 2017 of the hypermesh.

thanking you,

kartik

    Hi Katik,

Please check with the model file attached along.

After the successful completion of the run you can upload the .h3d file in HyperView for postprocessing. The animation files (A01...) generated can also be uploaded.

Also I have exported the model data to h3d but it is failing to attach in hypermesh.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi Kartik,

The error was related to the output block defined in the model. The user has to define the output variable in the output block.

From the menu, select HyperView and upload the .h3d file.

    Hi Kartik,

I think there is some issue with this .h3d file. Can you upload the A001 animation file and review the results.

Meanwhile, I tried with running with the model file I had and the h3d file is attached along for your reference.

    I have now few queries:

    1) To Create the .h3d File did you export the model file or any other as I always am getting the error even if I create a new .hm file as well.

    2) If the above procedure is Incorrect. How did you create the .h3d file.

    3) Also by animation file do you mean the animation that are created using the control cards option in the analysis tab. (I have placed a screen shot of the same )

    4) Is there any procedure from which I could talk to you?

    thanking you,

    yours sincerely,

    kartik

    Hi Kartik,

I have ran the model file which you have shared before and got the h3d file.

I'm attaching an engine file here. Please rename this file as your starter file (_0000.rad) name and run the analysis with this engine file.
