Can we perform denting analysis in optistruct, in which we have to load and unload the dent plate, if so what are the load collector card images, boundary conditions, load steps must be used in optistruct? please help me. Thank you.
If I understand right, you should try HyperForm, a Tool that specializes for Forming (or denting), very useful!.
You can access it through shortcut folder in Startup menu, choose Manufacturing Solutions folder then HyperForm.

Hi Ramakiran,
Yes, you can perform oil canning or denting analysis in OptiStruct.
You can use either NLSTAT or NLTRAN with PARAM,LGDISP,1 to define the non-linearities.
The loading and unloading curves can be defined through a TABELS1 card.
