i am creating lumped mass of component and want to distribute the mass to the nearest connecting components. please suggest me that RBE2 or RBE3 element is best to use to simulate the same.

similarly, for applying belt tension load over rotor pulley, resultant force or tension need to be applied. here also, suggest me best practices to apply force over belt wrapping angle

In the ebbok at the website of Altair University there is a nice ebook that covers these aspects of RBE2 x RBE3.

Did you have a chance of taking a look?

    In a very simple way.

RBE2 creates a rigid connection connecting your nodes, ideal for applying boundary conditions to your model, but with the downside of making this area stiffer numerically. All nodes of the RBE2 will follow the master node exactly.

RBE3 creates a connection with flexibility, ideal for load/mass distribution. The center node of the RBE3 will be calculated according to the master nodes.

    Hi Avadhesh Meena.

Hope your question related to modeling in RADIOSS?
    If Yes

RBE2 is rigid connection and its kinematic condition, so its mainly used for connection, applying BC's and Loads.
RBE3 is deformable which can used for mass distribution.

    and
Belt tension load over rotor pulley - For pully element in RADIOSS you can use P12_SPR_PUL element mainly it is used in the seat belt modeling.
