Hi,

I have a 3D model (geometry) of multi- components that some of the its surfaces is defined as the boundary surfaces by new component (B_Surf). I use 3D page and tetra mesh or solid map option to mesh all components excluding B_Surf component. By using of the export item and Optistruct format, an output file from nodes coordinate and 3D elements information is obtained. How can I obtain information (nodes number) of the 2D elements created in the surface component (B_Surf) ?

Many thanks.

For BC, I think you have to define yourself within Hypermesh before exporting into Optistruct format.

Thanks about answer, But using of the BC such as constraint or force and etc not be obtained nodes number of each 2D elements separately (like 3D elements). What should I do?
