Hello,

I have a question about the software hypemesh, sometimes i mesh with the same parameters but i find a different meshing  I wiill explain more for you ,

once I lmeshed with  a specific  parameters after I found A lot of error ,the software could not launch the calculation. Another time I lmeshed with the same parameters but I found different results and the software launched the calculation even if there were quite a few errors. Idont understand anymore how hyperresh works if you have explanation for it i will be grateful .

Thank you

    Hi,

if there are any modelling errors, the solver will not run and the same will be displayed in .out file which we need to clear.

Regarding element quality parameters, please go through this link: http://www.altairuniversity.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/Student_Guide_211-233.pdf which explains about the aspects of Element Quality and Checks performed in HyperMesh.

Could you tell us more about your mesh? Which kind of mesh do you? 2D? 3D? Type of element? TET? HEX? WED?

Could you tell us more details about 'same parameters' do you use?

    Some screenshots of your mesh?

hello , thanks for your response

here are images for the meshing and parameters that i use to generate 3D element . sometimes i launch the calculation in optistruct with the same parameters but i find different results .

    Hi,

If the model set up is same (mesh size, loads, boundary conditions, materials, properties....etc) OptiStruct will provide the same results as OptiStruct has proved its repeatability  in simulation results across industries. I recommend you to check the deck set up once again.
