Shock analysis by using optistruct

Dear Sir ,

I want to do shock dynamic analysis for one industrial model.

can i do shock analysis in optistruct or i need to go for radioss.

 

I have frequency values and Acceleration values for qualification level and testing level.

I wants to solve for 10 ms.

please some body help me to solve this problem.

    Why don't you check RADIOSS explicit analysis instead?

    Hi,

    Is this shock testing being done on vibration shaker table?

    If you have any test data or physical results and behaviour of the component during testing, you can identify which solver to be used. Generally it can be done in optistruct itself. I have used optistruct for designing a fixture for battery shock test.

    Hi all,

     

    I missed the SHOCK word and was concentrating only on event time and dynamics

     

    You can use OptiStruct FRF if you have all frequency and load data
