postprocessing of abaqus result file in hyperview

Hi,

I have gone thru the hyperview post processing document where corner data & averaging method is explained for shell and solid element.

Those explanations are bit confusing.

Please clarify if I have done static analysis of  Floor assembly in Abaqus & have  .odb result file and want to do post processing in Hyperview.

Then in Abaqus CAE, I am quoting the stress as Simple average (75%).

 

To correlate same result,which option is best tin Hyperview-

1) Corner data should be on or off?

2)Averaging method should be simple,NONE or Advanced?

3) which combination of corner data & averaging method.

 

I tried with all options and I got 20% deviation in hyperview.

Hi,

 

I would say it must be:

 

1) Choose 'Stress components IP (s)'

2) Corner data --> OFF

3) Turn on Simple average
