Topology optimization of upright
Hello,
I am running a topology optimization on a part, but I get the following error:
Load Steps are defined as linear static
*** ERROR # 2148 ***
Invalid design problem.
All the sensitivities of response 2 (objective) are zero.
I am attaching the file, hoping that somebody can help me.

The problem setup is wrong.
You are apply load on nodes where you constrained the same in all directions.
Please check and update your constraints and loads.

Actually I want constraints on those nodes .....tell me is there anything I can do?

Then your load application is wrong.
You cannot apply load on the same node where you constrain the same in all directions.
So please work on loads.

This time instead of giving constraints in all directions , I left one (Z- axis Rotational).But it still shows the same error :

And sir I am sure the loads applied are correct.

HI,
You are telling the solver that the node should not move in any direction and at the same time you are applying force on same node. This is not valid.
Please check in what directions you are applying the forces and what the constraints are.

Sir I changed my constraints and so there is no error now. But after running topology optimization ....it only showed one iteration 'Iteration zero' and no more iterations. Here is the modal file.

Hi,
I am not sure how you arrived at the loads and boundary conditions.
But the loads coming from wishbone and steering makes sense, maybe you should think about the constraints. How about constraining at the wheel hub?
