Hello guys,

first of all, I'd like to thank you for your great support. 

I'm quite new to FE analysis and now i'm facing my first problems.

To get known to HyperWorks, I started to mesh an imported CAD file with Hypermesh and defined materials and properties.

Before applying Boundary Conditions and forces I wanted to check the model for errors and started the anaylisis ( Solver: Radioss (Block 140))

 

That's where I encountered some error messages. With the help of this forum I was able to fix some problems.

For these messages I wasn't able to find any solution:

    HI Aditya,

    There are multiple modelling errors in your file.


    >>** ERROR IN /INIVEL OPTION

    Please check the initial velocity applied in the model.  This seems like you have not selected any node group/components for this load. Select the nodes to which you ant to apply this load.

     

    >>** ERROR IN INTERFACE SURFACE DEFINITION

    For the interface created it seems like you have not assigned any master surface. Please redefine the master surface in the contact and finally please review the contact so that HyperMesh will show the master surface in 'blue' colour and slave in 'red' , thereby user can ensure that contact is properly defined.

     

    >>** INPUT ERROR

    Please update the element types. For that go to 2D page and select elem types and select the elements displayed and click update.

     

    Always run the model checker (Tools>>Model Checker>>RADIOSSblock) so that it will list out the modelling errors in the file.

     

    Please try with these changes.
