Hi

I have two geometrically complex component which are in contact. The problem is that I can not see and determine which surfaces are touching each other due to complexity of two component. Is there any tool in Hypermesh to enable us to determine which surfaces are touching each other for instance shows the she surfaces in contact with another color? Thanks for your help in advance

Try using Interference option under Geometry pull down menu.See attached screenshot.

It would be nice if you can give any sample file to test this using interference option.

I remember we have one tool called Model verification director for this type of checks specially when you have a big assembly. It needs additional HW units for usage. It will work on the top of Hypermesh. It list out all problematic region in excel file with region where part is intersecting. It would be ideal for big assembly.Let us know if you have such requirement.

Note: Those who have full version they can use this Packaged solution MVD.
