Hi all,

For complex thin structure, we often cannot get a complete midsurface. That is to say, the surface  is  discontinuity or intersection.  Is there any example about midsurface extract and repair script for complex structure? Thank you.

    @Roy Duan

    I recommend to use the midmesh panel in 2D page.

    It just select a component, and input mesh size (2.0), and check the 'flatten connections' and hit the create button.
    You can get the below pictured result using direct midmesh panel.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>midmesh.jpg

    Please try it:-)

    Thanks,
    Imoto

    Hi lmoto,

    I have tried the method you mentioned. There are also some problems. Is there any other good method which can be used to this model? The least time is needed along with correct midmesh.

    In addition, is there any detail explanation documents about midmesh panel?
