About the load step used last load step result
I have read the help about STATSUB
STATSUB (PRETENS) is supported for linear and nonlinear static subcases.
I have a question about because I don't know the STATSUB (PRETNES) completely.
I have tried 3 loadstep like :
Step 1 : pretension
Step 2 : pretension (Step 1) in STATSUB(PRETENS) + gravity
Step 3 : pretension (Step 1) in STATSUB(PRETENS) + force
And this situation can completed. Because here in STATSUB(PRETENS) only has pretension.
But I have a question if today my case is like:
Step 1 : pretension
Step 2 : pretension (Step 1) in STATSUB(PRETENS) + gravity
Step 3 : (Step 2) in STATSUB(PRETENS) + Force
At here in my Step 3 can Step 2 set in STATSUB(PRETENS).
My STATSUB(PRETENS) here will have pretension and gravity result.
Do I do this right?

Hi @LKZ
Yes, if you are using step 2 in step 3, you will have the effect of step2 in step3 and not from Step1

@Prakash Pagadala Thanks to your apply!
I finally reorganized my idea like :
Step 1 : pretension
Step 2 : pretension (Step 1) in STATSUB(PRETENS) + gravity
Step 3 : (Step 2) in STATSUB(PRETENS) + Force
So at Step 3 before I plus force on model, the STATSUB(PRETENS) will have the pretension and gravity.
Because my Step 2 have pretension then plus gravity.

@Prakash Pagadala Do I speak right at my last post?
An I also have a question about that :
How can iteratoin enlarge up max times in implicit analysis.
And how can it zoom out max times in implicit analysis.
If my dt=0.01, maybe it max times is 10 the next dt will be 0.1.

Hi,
Try this:
Step1: Pretension
Step2: STATSUB (step1)+Gravity
Step3: CNTNLSUB+ FORCE

Sorry, I am not clear what you mean by times?
