Hello everybody,

I've read the tutorial on RADIOSS like the 3 point bending and i just try to simulate something simple to apply the things learned. Unfortunately in my excercise there is something wrong. I simulate two rigid cubes which move in a box. I use all shell element and an elastic material. RADIOSS give me back a lot of errors, from a wrong formulation of the input function for load to an invalid definition of rigid body. Can someone help me?

    Hi Alessio,

Please try with the attached model.

    Changes Made:

The element types were updated in the model.

The functions defined were modified and the same was recalled in the gravity load created.

    Thanks George,

I have just some questions about the tool:

    1. Is the g load the results of the multiplication between curve values (in my case 0.65) and scale X (in my case 9810)?

    2. Use rigids which connect all nodes of a rigid body will affect the behaviour of that body under gravity load?

    Hi Alessio,

    1. Yes, the curve value will be the product of Scale X or Y and curve.

    2. No, it will not affect. Ensure all nodes are selected including the rigid body master node.
