Mapping Residual Stress and Strain Results

Hi everyone,

I want to validate the effects of residual stress and strain on the modal behavior of sheet metal. So, I did the forming simulation via Hyperform and I want to map the residual stress and strain results to Optistruct. Are there any way to do this ? Thanks.

    Hi @Tarik Baldan

     

    RIght now mapping stress and strain results is not supported.

     

    One way is you can export the deformed shape from HyperView which can be used in OptiStruct.
